Finding a Summer Internship
Summers between school semesters can be an opportunity to relax, but you may also want to prepare yourself for entering the workforce. Getting a summer internship is one way to earn work experience and even some income. Understanding PTSD
Anyone can develop PTSD at any age. However, some factors can increase the chance someone will develop PTSD, which is often not within that person’s control. To begin understanding PTSD, please watch the video linked in the title.

Veterans Connect @ the Library
Through the generous support of the California State Library, the Los Angeles Public Library has received a Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA) grant to establish four Veterans Resource Centers, a resource dedicated to helping veterans and their families.

Happy Birthday U.S. Army!
The U.S. Army birthday will take place on Monday, June 14. The U.S. Army operates with close to half a million active-duty soldiers. The service has come a long way since it was created approximately a year prior to the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
