“Women to Women” at the Veterans Resource Center Features Networking and Free Lunch for Female Student Vets

WHAT:
The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) of the University Student Union (USU) invites all female student veterans to network and share their stories with other women who have served in the military at its “Women to Women” event. The VRC created this welcoming and supportive space to encourage female veterans to take advantage of the many resources offered to all student veterans on campus and in the community. Come join us to create meaningful connections and help empower the female veteran community.

Mayra Plascencia, VRC Manager, is responsible for this event. 

WHEN:
Friday, March 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

WHERE:
Oasis Wellness Center of the University Student Union 

WHY:
To enhance engagement and connections among the female veteran community at CSUN and introduce them to the resources offered at the VRC. 

BACKGROUND:
Free lunch and beverages will be provided at the fun and welcoming “Women to Women” event.
