COVID-19 Information Affecting Education Benefits
Congress continues to preserve GI Bill benefits for students impacted by COVID-19. The President signed into law S.3503, giving VA temporary authority to continue GI Bill payments uninterrupted during an emergency.
H.R 8837 — Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021 and other Extensions Act
If you are using VA educational benefits (Chapter 33, Chapter 31, and Veteran Readiness and Employment). Your benefits will not be affected by in-person classes being switched to virtual in the spring semester.
Google SVA Scholarship
Google has partnership with the SVA to award eight (8) $10,000 scholarships to Student Veterans studying computer science and related majors.
