This free workshop offers an opportunity to review how your nonprofit handles its overall financial management operations, through an interactive discussion of these questions: Do you have an overall financial management plan or operations manual? How well does your accounting software work? Who handles financial management internally or externally and might they benefit from further training? What financial reports get generated for the ED and Board, and how might they be improved? What internal financial controls do you have in place? The workshop will put responses to these questions in the larger context of the coronavirus and its impact on nonprofit operations and financing. It will be led by Lydia Floyd, of Simple Data Nonprofit Consulting, who has an accounting degree and also is a nonprofit consultant - plus she is ED of a small nonprofit.
