Re-Thinking Strategic Planning and Transition Planning VNR Executive Director Dr. Thomas Backer and expert nonprofit consultants Janet Levine and Matt Zarcufsky will focus this workshop on how nonprofits can re-shape strategic plans to address uncertainty, and enhance transition planning for key staff and board members. CSUN Professor Jodi Brown will briefly share her recent research on how nonprofit leaders are handling uncertainty now. The workshop, funded by grants from Dwight Stuart Youth Fund, UniHealth Foundation and Wells Fargo, will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Strength United. Co-sponsors are Valley Care Community Consortium, Valley Providers Collaborative, CSUN Institute for Community Health and Well-Being, Reseda Community Network, Burbank Nonprofit ED Coalition, LA Family Housing and Valley Economic Alliance.
