Navigating Managerialism: Experiences of Middle Managers in Social Justice Nonprofits AND Mentorships for African American Male Social Workers in Valley Nonprofits

Two lectures with discussion following will be given at an upcoming meeting of the Valley Providers Collaborative. CSUN Professor Lauren Willner will discuss the concept of “managerialism” and her study of how middle managers in nonprofit social justice agencies deal with their managerial responsibilities. And CSUN Professor Allen Lipscomb will discuss his study of how mentoring can benefit African American Male Social Workers in Valley nonprofits.
