The University Student Union (USU) at California State University, Northridge is a student centered non-profit organization that works to expand the college experience through various programs, services, employment, and involvement opportunities.

The University Student Union, as the heart of campus, uplifts and empowers students to achieve educational, personal and professional goals by providing leadership development, meaningful employment, and innovative programs, services and facilities. We promote equity, inclusion and well-being, while encouraging social justice advocacy to help Matadors feel heard, respected and connected to CSUN.

The University Student Union at CSUN includes the DREAM Center, Pride Center, Computer Lab, East Conference Center, Games Room, Northridge Center, Oasis Wellness Center, Reservations & Event Services, Student Recreation Center, USU Programs, Veterans Resource Center...and you!

The University Student Union and Associated Students invite all CSUN students, faculty and staff to see Soledad O’Brien, award-winning journalist and TV news anchor, present her compelling talk on “Race and Opportunity in America”. On Tuesday, March 8 at 5 p.m. live on-stage at the Valley Performing Arts Center, O’Brien’s riveting presentation will cover this critically important topic facing our country and its impact on our shared future.  Read more

“Veterans Professional Development Dinner” Helps Prepare Student Veterans for Future Careers

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) invites all CSUN student veterans to attend its “Veterans Professional Development Dinner” on Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 4:45 to 7 p.m. in the Northridge Center at the University Student Union. Each veteran in attendance will enjoy a free dinner while learning about various career fields, participating in job workshops and networking with current working professionals. Read more
