Junior Counselor Program

If an effort to provide leadership and growth opportunities for campers who have out grown our program, Sunny Days Camp offers a Junior Counselor (JC) program. JC's spend the summer enhancing their leadership skills while being role models for younger campers. They work very closely with Sunny Days Camp staff and are exposed to life skills such as leadership, supervision, time management and effective communication.

JC's participate in helping counselors facilitate daily activities such as arts & crafts and sports. They participate in Wednesday field trips, as well as daily swimming. Lunch and snack are provided every day.

This program is offered to High School students 15 to 18 years of age. It is a volunteer position and students can use this experience to fulfill community service hours that may be required by their school. All JC's will receive training prior to the start of camp and throughout the summer as well.

Campers that participate in the JC program receive a reduce rate of $100 per a week.
