You Can Lean on the DREAM Center at “Coffee Talks”

WHAT: The DREAM Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites all undocumented and mixed-status CSUN students to connect and engage in conversations relevant to the immigrant community during virtual “Coffee Talks”. Come join the DREAM Center two select Friday each month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. to gather together online in a safe and brave space where you can express any feelings you may have and find a supportive community. Discover all the different layers of our shared experiences with our “Undocu”-themed meetings and a great support system at the DREAM Center. 

WHO: Gemma Jimenez G, Student Dream Center Assistant, is responsible for this event. 

WHEN: Select Fridays including Feb. 12 & 26, March 12 & 26, and Apr. 9 & 23 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. 

WHERE: Zoom 

WHY: This event welcomes all undocumented and mixed-status CSUN students to the spring semester while providing a helpful support system and offering resources from the DREAM Center. 

BACKGROUND: Take this opportunity to be kind to yourself, bond with people who know what you’re going through, and have consistent personal check-ins at virtual “Coffee Talks” with the DREAM Center.
