Veterans Day Acknowledgment
Friday, Nov. 11

As we observe this year’s Veterans Day, let us not forget the words of Woodrow Wilson on the first Veterans Day, or as it was known then, Armistice Day:

The war showed us the strength of great nations acting together for high purposes, and the victory of arms foretells the enduring conquests which can be made in peace when nations act justly and in furtherance of the common interests of men.” — Woodrow Wilson, 1919

With these words in mind, let us honor those who contribute their service and sacrifice as we continue the path towards a more peaceful world.
