FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Northridge — The University Student Union (USU) invites the CSUN community to an outdoor dining experience featuring tasty treats and unique products from a range of exciting vendors during the return of the USU Night Market. On Friday, April 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Plaza del Sol, the CSUN community can enjoy delicious food, photo ops and a variety of activities.
“We are excited for our first in-person USU Night Market since 2019 and being able to connect with our Matadors over the delicious variety of great food,” said Britney Lopez, USU student event assistant. “Markets are the center for community and culture. So with this year’s event, we want the CSUN community to bring their friends and family so they can all share their love of food and local small businesses.”
Inspired by other popular night markets in the Los Angeles area, the USU Night Market will offer the same excitement to our CSUN community. Throughout the area, attendees can try unique eats from a variety of enticing food trucks and vendors including Rice Balls of Fire, JayZ Tacos, Oaxaca on Wheels, Mambo Juice Boba Truck, and The Churro Man. There will also be a splatter wall, obstacle course, photo booth and photo ops with giant food items such as boba, fries and a taco. This is the perfect opportunity to munch on their favorite food and broaden their taste buds while also creating special times with endless entertainment and activities.
For our Matador entrepreneurs, CSUN students and alumni have the option to sell and promote their small business’s goods and services at the event. To sign up for the vendor lineup, students and alumni can reply to the USU Instagram page’s Story (@csun_usu) information about their business.
