Matadors Invited to Express Yourself Onstage at “Expressions” in the Games Room of the USU

WHAT:

The University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students to the ever-entertaining “Expressions” monthly event in the Games Room. This semester, Matadors can take the stage and express themselves in any creative medium, whether it is singing, dancing, spoken word, poetry, playing a musical instrument or even beat boxing! You are also more than welcome to just sit back and cheer the performances of your fellow Matadors while enjoying delicious free food. At the end of every “Expressions”, one lucky attendee will receive an awesome raffle prize!

WHO:

Kelsey Almendral, Student Events Assistant, is responsible for putting on this event.

WHEN:

Wednesdays, Feb. 21, March 28, and April 18 from 8pm to 10:30pm.

WHERE:

Games Room in the University Student Union (located downstairs across from the Student Recreation Center main entrance)

WHY:

This fun event provides a safe and welcoming space to perform your creative self-expression and also offers free entertainment for students on campus.

BACKGROUND:

The USU’s popular “Expressions” event provides all CSUN students the platform to showcase their creative side on the stage once a month from February to April in the Games Room. It’s a completely free event for Matadors to attend, whether they want to perform or just have fun watching their friends. All attendees will be entered into a raffle to win fun prizes such as CSUN gear and “Expressions” journals. For more information about “Expressions”, please visit csun.edu/usu/.
