WHAT: The University Student Union (USU) invites all first-gen CSUN students to learn all about graduate school at Beyond Bachelors Part II: What Should I Know About the Application Process? presented in collaboration with the CSUN Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and Black Chat (USU). Come hear from a panel of knowledgeable current graduate students and professionals with graduate-level degrees as they share their insights and experience with the application process, requesting letters of recommendations, writing their statement of purpose, and their time at graduate school. 

WHO: Ayan Jama, Diversity Initiatives Coordinator, is responsible for this event. 

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

WHY: This informative panel will provide the foundation for first-gen undergrad college students like you who are interested in attending grad school by supplying valuable resources and helpful advice so they can help ensure your success when the time comes to apply for graduate school.
