The Future Starts Now at “Matador Nights 3017”, FREE to CSUN Students at the University Student Union

August 25, 2017

Northridge — The University Student Union (USU) is crossing the space-time continuum to present CSUN’s best party of the semester at “Matador Nights 3017”! On Friday, Sept. 15 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., all students are invited to time travel into the future and experience an unprecedented USU event that is truly ahead of its time. Join us for a night of futuristic fun, with virtual reality games, laser tag, amazing carnival rides, tasty food, live entertainment and much more — all for FREE!

“We are so excited to launch CSUN students 1,000 years into the future for a night of completely free entertainment,” said Student Event Assistant and Event Lead, Freddy Martin. “Matador Nights is always the best party of every semester and this one is also a special welcome back to campus for all. The futuristic twist we have in store is going to make ‘Matador Nights 3017’ unlike any Matador Nights yet!”

Students will enter the incredible world of the year 3017 as soon as they step into the Plaza del Sol. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, dancing, and a variety of amazing activities such as a 5D Ride, laser tag, virtual reality games, fortune tellers and an oxygen bar.  As always, students can still experience some classic carnival fun with the Roc-O-Plane and Round-Up rides.

Students can use their current CSUN ID to pick up their FREE ticket starting August 30 at the USU Sol Center Front Desk and the A.S. Ticket Office in the USU.

The USU invites all Matadors to fast forward in hyper-drive for futuristic fun at “Matador Nights 3017”!  For more information about this special event, please visit University Student Union website at www.csun.edu/usu or contact USU Events Manager Audrey Martinez at audrey.martinez @csun.edu.
