Dominate this Semester’s Finals with the Help of “Crunch Time” from the USU

December 8, 2020

Northridge - The University Student Union (USU) welcomes all CSUN students to experience the fun of finals week stress relief during this semester’s “Crunch Time” from the USU. You’ll have the opportunity to sign up and receive a special care box packed with snacks, affirmations and materials to prepare you for final exams. Then on Wednesday, Dec. 9 and Thursday, Dec. 10 and the next week on Monday, Dec. 14 and Tuesday, Dec. 15, the first 50 CSUN students who visit one of the three special coffee shops will get a free coffee or tea and a pastry as well as a chance at the “Golden Ticket”.

“Students often work so hard during finals week that they forget to slow down and take a moment for themselves,” said USU Student Programs Assistant, Dyemond Cooper. “The USU is more than happy to offer you a care box and a chance to enjoy a hot drink and a snack break during the stress of finals week.”

CSUN students are invited to visit selected coffee shops including Café Aficionado in the valley, The Ugly Mug Coffee House in Burbank and South LA Café in South LA. Every student who visits one of the shops will also be eligible for the “Golden Ticket” - a exciting prize which will be awarded at the end of finals.

Students are also invited to sweat out your stress with the SRC during Zumba Fitness 30 on Wednesday, Dec. 9 starting at noon. Then, check in with the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) for an exciting virtual Game Night on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Next up, it’s Yoga Core and More from the SRC on Friday, Dec. 11 at 9:30 a.m. Matadors can wrap up Crunch Time with a full day of fun on Tuesday, Dec. 15 with the SRC Dance Party at 11 a.m. followed that evening by the Games Room’s suspenseful round of the “Among Us Party” starting at 8 p.m.
