Commit Towards a Future of Anti-Racism and Decolonization at Steps Towards Implementing Institutional Change Presented by CSUN

WHAT: The University Student Union (USU) in collaboration with the Matador S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Series and Chief Diversity Office invites all Matadors to attend Steps Towards Implementing Institutional Change featuring Dr. Shaun Harper. Come and learn how you can effectively contribute towards an anti-racist and decolonizing future within CSUN’s student organizations, student services, classrooms and campus environments with the guidance of Dr. Harper, an expert and scholar on diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism. This is a crucial time for you and your peers to incorporate anti-racism and decolonization in your daily lifestyle to help transform CSUN policies, curriculum and the Matador experience. 

WHO: Ayan Jama, Acting Manager for Diversity and Inclusion, is responsible for this event. 

WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. 

WHERE: Zoom 

WHY: This is an excellent opportunity for students to educate themselves on the importance of anti-racist and decolonial frameworks so they can take action and advocate for institutional change.
