Be Welcomed Into a Space of Healing and Support at WISDOM’s Sister Circle

WHAT: The Women Inspired to Succeed and Discover Opportunities Through Mentoring (WISDOM) Program of the University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN African American/Black women students to Sister Circle, a safe space to discuss topics pertaining to their community. Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into topics such as self identity, women reproductive health, society’s perception of themselves, sense of belonging and many more. Build close-knit and strong bonds with this special support group! 

WHO: Audrey Martinez, Acting Assistant Director of USU Programs and Inclusions, is responsible for coordinating this event. 

WHEN: Select Tuesdays of each month: Feb. 22, March 15, April 19, May 17 from 1 to 2 p.m. 

WHERE: Panorama City Room, University Student Union or Zoom 

WHY: African American/Black women students will be welcomed into a space of support as their peers will actively listen to unique and shared experiences.
