“Matador Nights” Brings Mardi Gras Fun to the USU

April 8, 2016

Northridge —The University Student Union invites all CSUN students to let the good times roll at “Matador Nights” Mardi Gras-style on Friday, April 22. Starting at 9 p.m. at the USU, students can enjoy the ultimate Mardi Gras experience packed with awesome carnival rides, casino games, live entertainment, great food and more - all right here on campus and completely free!

“This semester the USU is celebrating Mardi Gras the Matador way,” said USU Events Supervisor Randy Sorensen. “Matador Nights is always deemed the biggest and best party every semester and no student will want to miss the spectacular celebration we have in store this year!”

The night will be filled with awesome music. DJ Rhiannon and DJ Ralphey Ralph will be spinning all of the hottest tracks that you love most. You will also feel like you’re kickin’ back in New Orleans while you enjoy live music played by the Jazz Band. To help really deliver that true Mardi Gras spirit, students will be treated to some tasty free food and the opportunity to play exciting casino games.

Since it is Matador Nights, students will also have a wide range of awesome carnival rides and activities to keep the fun going! Challenge your friends to a race down the Giant Slide, get a great view on top of the Ferris Wheel, navigate your way out of the Bayou Maze, master the Obstacle Course, capture the night forever in the Photo Booth or discover your destiny with a visit to the Palm Reader.

Students with a current CSUN ID can begin picking up their free tickets now at the Sol Center Front Desk and the A.S. Ticket Office.
