Envisioning What is Housing as a Human Right

Join in this dynamic and essential conversation surrounding the housing crisis right here in Los Angeles with housing activist Martha Escudero and several campus partners during Envisioning What is Housing as a Human Right from the University Student Union, in collaboration with the Ethnic Studies Pathways Project. Escudero, a member of the “Reclaiming Our Homes” organization, will discuss everything from displacement and gentrification to COVID-19 and the effect it has had on so many individuals and families. This is a special opportunity to bring awareness to the LA housing crisis and learn about how dedicated people are working to bring change.

Register now for this event and then connect with us via Zoom on Thursday, April 15 at 12:30 p.m. Come take a step in the right direction as we rally to create a better future for so many families here in our city during Envisioning What is Housing as a Human Right with the USU… Where Matadors Belong!

Sign language interpreters will be provided.
