In collaboration with University Counseling Services (UCS), the University Student Union is hosting Healing Space: Uplifting the Community After Tragic Loss. This virtual program will address the recent and long history of police brutality and its impact on the Black community. Dr. Milton, Dr. Theresa-Schechtel and Marlon Briggs (UCS) will facilitate a safe and supportive healing space for individuals to process the recent killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis on Monday, May 25, and the many others who have died at the hands of police officers.
