Black History Workshop Series

The University Student Union invites CSUN students, faculty, staff and community members to join us for our Black History Workshop Series on Zoom. Join us for this educational and informative two-part series facilitated by CSUN’s Africana Studies Professor, Dr. Marquita M. Gammage, to learn about the history of Black people and the record of “race neutral” policies in America. Beginning from the enslavement period to present day mass incarceration and discrimination in between, we will illuminate the injustices the Black community continues to face in America and inform you on how you can combat racism through education. Knowledge is power.
