Where Matadors Belong

The University Student Union (USU) at California State University, Northridge is a student centered non-profit organization that works to expand the college experience through various programs, services, employment, and involvement opportunities.

The mission of the USU is to foster the achievement of students’ educational goals by facilitating a strong connection between students and their campus community.

We are an engaging and energetic campus program that develops students through inclusive activities, meaningful employment opportunities, leadership experiences and innovative technologies, facilities, and services.

The USU includes the Computer Lab, East Conference Center, Games Room, Northridge Center, Oasis Wellness Center, Pride Center, Reservations & Event Services, Student Recreation Center, USU Events, Veterans Resource Center...and you!

Professional Trainer Drenches Students

Professional trainer and former pro basketball player Michael Blanks will bring his unique personal training class, Drenched Cardio, to the Student Recreation Center (SRC) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Students will get a taste of his Body Theory gym class as part of the SRC’s new Master Class event, a five-part series of classes planned for the 2012-2013 school year. Each Master Class will introduce students to a new type of workout and offer the opportunity to exercise with high profile trainers. Read more

Students are invited to enjoy “I’m Comin’ Out,” a variety show in celebration of National Coming Out Day. The show will feature improvisational comedy, performances by CSUN Hip-Hop and a forum theatre component.  Read more

A Thrilling Dinner and Haunting Mystery for CSUN students

The University Student Union (USU) invites students to Murder Mystery, an interactive dinner theatre event. Set in a crime scene inside a haunted mansion, guests will be challenged to solve the mystery as details unfold around them. Tickets cost $5 and CSUN students can bring one guest. Read more
