The mission of the University Student Union (USU) is in part to facilitate a strong connection between CSUN students and their campus community. Department managers design learning-based student work experiences that are intended to involve student employees in enough meaningful campus employment activities to connect them with the campus in substantial and lasting ways.
The USU Exit Survey offers students who are ending their USU employment, voluntarily or involuntarily, a means to consider the success of those efforts. Students may opt not to complete the assessment but the knowledge gleaned from these employment reflections is a trove of information about what works well and what improvement opportunities exist.
