Quick Start

How to Schedule an Appointment for Online Tutoring via EAB Navigate

  1. Click on the button that says “Make an appointment with the Online Writing Lab” or type to csun.campus.eab.com in your internet browser. 
  2. Log in to your CSUN portal account by entering your User ID and Password when prompted.
  3. Once you're on the home screen, on the right-hand side click on the button that reads “Schedule Appointment.”  
  4. Select “LRC Online Writing Lab” in the location field and then click on the time that you want to schedule.

How to Check-In for an Appointment for Online Tutoring via EAB Navigate

  1. Go to http://csun.campus.eab.com in your internet browser and log in with your CSUN User ID and Password.
  2. From your Dashboard, you can see all upcoming appointments on the bottom right side of the screen. When it is 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment, click the "Check-in Online" highlighted under the appointment.
  3. This will bring up the Check-In Notification box. Read the information in the box, then click "Okay, got it!"
  4. Then, click the Zoom link provided in the appointment details in your confirmation email or under "Current Visits" on the right side of your dashboard. If prompted, please click “Open Zoom Meetings.”

Supplemental Instruction (SI)


SI or Supplemental Instruction is a nationally recognized program. SI classes (University 60) are peer-facilitated group study sessions designed to help students master difficult subject matter in classes with traditionally low pass rates.
