The General Education Honors Certificate will be awarded to students who meet the following requirements:
- Complete 15 units of GE Honors courses
- Receive a grade of B or better (3.0 GPA) in GE Honors courses
- Maintain a CSUN GPA of 3.3
Transfer Students
Students who have transferred with course credits in honors from Community Colleges or other four-year institutions should consult with the Director concerning the application of those credits towards satisfying the requirements for the GE Honors Certificate. In such cases, normally at least nine units of GE Honors credit earned at CSUN will be required.
Business Honors Students
Business 280BH: Business Law I, a GE course in the CSUN Business Honors Program, may be applied toward the Certificate in GE Honors.
The General Education Honors Cord will be awarded to students who meet the following requirements:
- Complete at least 3 units of GE Honors courses
- Receive a grade of B or better (3.0 GPA) in one GE Honors course
- Maintain a CSUN GPA of 3.3
