Learn with the Library: Using Archives in Your Teaching

Learn how you can use archival materials and rare books from CSUN’s Special Collections & Archives in your courses.

University Archivist Gayle O’Hara and Special Collections & Archives Librarian Mallory Furnier will provide a hands-on opportunity to work with our collections, and connect you with archival materials relevant to your specific academic area of study. They will share previous ways faculty used archives in their courses, and help brainstorm ideas for assignments and in-class activities with a focus on student learning outcomes.

This session will build on previous Special Collections & Archives sessions (on 3/12 and 3/26), but attendance at the earlier sessions is not required to participate in this session

  • Date and Time: Friday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 2 p.m.
