This two-part mindfulness series is designed to be both informative and experiential, and will provide participants with a basic understanding of what is meant by "mindfulness" as how to incorporate mindfulness into their everyday lives. Workshops will include ample opportunities for mindfulness practice, and will teach participants how mindfulness practice can be effective in the reduction of anxiety or depression. Participants will also be given various mindfulness-related community resources that they may pursue should they have continued interest in the topic.
