Student Symposium Nomination

ANNUAL COMMUNITY-BASED RESEARCH AND SERVICE LEARNING SYMPOSIUM

Friday, April 26th

10:00am - 1:00pm

Location: The Atrium inside Extended University Commons

This event gives faculty, students, and community partners a chance to showcase the incredible work they have done for their community-based (service) learning projects. On top of the honor of receiving a nomination to present, the virtual Symposium showcasing and celebrating their work, they can win prizes up to $500. 

Submissions will take place online as narrated PowerPoints or videos, and judging will take place online. The Symposium will be a celebration for all community-based learning students, nominees and winners and will take place in person.

All of our OCE Grantees from the 2023-2024 academic year are required to nominate at least one student or student group to participate. All community-based learning faculty are welcome to nominate their students and invite their community partners as well.

Please complete the form below to nominate your student or student group to submit presentations. Our office will contact students directly to coordinate how we can accommodate their presentations and provide more details about the submission format.  

All Nominations must be received by Friday, March 29th. Final submissions will be due April 15th.
