Description: The University Student Union invites you to connect with your fellow Matadors in a supportive space at Essential Talks: Community Care During an Intense Climate. At this student moderated panel, we’ll help you feel empowered and encouraged in the midst of this election season and its intense political divide. Join us on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 4-5:30 PM for this healing conversation, where you’ll learn about the activism and resilience of the undocumented and LGBTQIA+ communities, and others who have seen their identities become politicized. We will also focus on healing by informing students how to seek community support and explore the positivity and relief of helpful grounding practices such as music therapy and meditation.
