Micah Alvord

S4 Database Analyst

Micah graduated from The University of Melbourne with a B.A. in Politics and International Studies, and a Master of Information Systems (with Distinction). She is a passionate lover of food, travels, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She has many interests and never fails to be curious about the world, which has led her to study at CSUN where she is currently working on a M.A. in Mass Communication/Journalism.

Micah is also an avid user and learner of technology. She values how technology can help people be more creative, productive, and connected with one another. Having worked in various tech roles, Micah is a keen problem solver who likes to think of technological solutions to ultimately help people achieve their goals.

Micah is very excited to be working with the Office of Community Engagement and the S4 database to support students, faculty, and community partners in their service-learning journeys. When she's not working on the S4 database, you can find her either cooking new recipes, enjoying one of her many hobbies, or learning something new!
