About these posters
These posters were designed by students in Prof. Laurel Long's spring 2019 upper-division illustration class at CSUN. You can download and print your own small (8 1/2x11) poster by downloading the images from this CSUN box folder. If you would like a large format poster to display in your department, please contact Kelly Kroeker (Academic First Year Experiences) at x6535 or . If you request a poster for your department, please indicate which poster you want by giving Kelly the artist's name.
Giving credit to the student artists
Artist attributions: if you're using a laptop with Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, the name of each student artist should appear as you float your cursor over each poster. On an iPhone, tap each image twice.
The winning designs
Brianna Armas won top honors this year with this beautiful, painted image of two butterflies as a symbol of peaceful migration and immigrant rights.
There were so many wonderful posters to choose from. These other designs were runners up and are also available as posters.
