Summer Reading: 2017-2018 Common Read Nominees

July 7, 2016

Nominations for the 2017-2018 Freshman Common Reading closed on July 1, 2016. We've got a Selection Committee (all volunteers, and all from CSUN) set to start reading. Join us: read with us. If you want to share your opinions publicly, please submit a post on the Common Read blog. (It's moderated; only CSUN students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alums can post.)

Here are the fifteen titles we'll be choosing from: http://www.csun.edu/undergraduate-studies/academic-first-year-experiences/nominated-titles-2017-2018-freshman-common

Unhappy with all fifteen? Unimaginable. But if that's the case: it's never too early to nominate a title for 2018-2019.  We'll undoubtedly be using some version of the current selection criteria to choose books next summer, so you should take a look at them before you nominate a title of your own. All members of the CSUN community are welcome to nominate titles.
