The Selection Committee has chosen the five finalists for CSUN's 2018-2019 Freshman Common Reading:
- Lab Girl by Hope Jahren
- Becoming Nicole by Amy Ellis Nutt
- Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
- Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg
- Becoming Ms. Burton: From Prison to Recovery to Leading the Fight for Incarcerated Women by Susan Burton and Cari Lynn
