Matadors Forward

February 24, 2022

Dear Matadors,

We are aware that the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced new criteria allowing many businesses and establishments to, under very specified and difficult-to-uniformly-administer circumstances, voluntarily exempt customers, visitors and workers from indoor mask requirements. We want to share that at this time CSUN plans to maintain indoor mask requirements for all students, faculty and staff, regardless of vaccination status, throughout the spring semester.

CSUN’s protocols and actions over the past weeks and months have allowed us to resume on-campus instruction on Feb. 14 with confidence in our ability to ensure a safe and successful spring semester. As CSUN’s COVID case numbers continue to decline, we want to maintain protocols that most effectively support our goal of continuing on-campus instruction, student activities and events, and vibrant campus experiences throughout the spring semester which will culminate with the in-person graduation ceremonies that so many of our students and their families look forward to. Thank you for continuing to do your part in looking out for one another!
