Join us for our first TADW Masterclass session!
In addition to our summer theatre program, TADW will now be offering classes geared towards the world of film and television. Students will have the opportunity to take in-depth classes in the subjects of Acting on Camera and Voice Over for Animation. Our two instructors, who happen to be industry professionals, cannot wait to welcome students into their classrooms!
Classes will take place on select Saturdays throughout Fall 2022. Check back for exact dates!
Acting on Camera:
In this course, students will learn the ins and outs of what it takes to be an actor in film and television. Students will learn the difference between theatre and film acting, starting with basics such as "hitting your mark" and learning how to engage with the camera and interpret a script.
Voice Over for Animation:
If you think of every character you love from your favorite animated movie, it is hard to imagine them without hearing their voice. In this class, students will explore how actors bring those characters to life. In addition, students will be receiving training in building a character using nothing but their voice and words on the printed page.
Tuition is $600 for six Saturdays and a total of 12 classes.
