Event Description:
The Institute for Sustainability is partnering with Food Forward to put on the 15th annual CSUN Orange Pick, this year with the celebratory title: Zest Fest!
We plan to host members of the CSUN and surrounding community in the Orange Grove for a picnic-style celebration from 10:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, June 1.
There will be two shifts for picking fruit and composting scraps around the grove with picker tools provided by Food Forward, one at 9:15 and another at 11:15.
All participants, whether they are just planning to attend the festivities or wish to volunteer for a shift and reserve a picker tool, are encouraged to sign up in advance:
