Each year four graduating seniors are presented with the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award in recognition of academic excellence, contributions to campus and community, and exceptional achievements or personal life circumstances that have been overcome. These $2,000 awards are sponsored by the University Foundation. Each recipient will be recognized at the annual Honors Convocation ceremony at 6:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
To be eligible, a student must have a degree award date of Fall 2024, Spring 2025 or Summer 2025. Only students with a minimum GPA of 3.0, either cumulative or in the last 60 units, will be considered. Students must complete the Application, including a Statement of Qualifications, upload their unofficial transcript, and submit two letters of recommendation from faculty, staff or administrators. At least one of the recommendations must be from a member of the Cal State Northridge faculty.
