WHAT:
The Student Recreation Center (SRC) at the University Student Union encourages all CSUN students, faculty and staff to participate in the “SRC Swim Challenge”. The challenge is swimming to achieve the specified distance milestones for the chance to win prizes and participate in great giveaways! The more you swim, the more you can win! So, come join us and swim for the distance!

Monday, Sept. 11 to Friday, Oct. 20 during regular hours of pool operation
Registration opens Monday, Sept. 4 and closes Friday, Sept. 22

WHY:
Encourage CSUN students to stay fit and healthy through swimming along with an opportunity to win great prizes.
BACKGROUND:
Participants can register for the challenge through the SRC Challenges Portal or during SRC tabling sessions. You can swim a maximum distance of 2,000 yards per day and will need to log your daily yards on the SRC Challenges Portal. Participants who finish in the top five for distance will be eligible to win CSUN Campus Store gift cards and semester-long towel service. The first person to reach 50,000 yards will win a $35 gift card to the Campus Store. You’ll also have the chance to win SRC swag by reaching certain milestones, including sunglasses, keychain sunscreens and mesh bags!
