As of Tuesday, June 1, the Student Recreation Center (SRC) of the University Student Union is now reopened for CSUN students. While our current virtual offerings will continue to be available, students now also have access to the SRC’s indoor and outdoor areas like the Training Zones, Plaza Pool, Turf Field and more!
The current facility hours of operation for CSUN students are:

3:15 – 7:30 p.m. - Turf Field
Monday – Sunday
10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. - Plaza Pool

9 – 11:45 a.m. & 3:15 – 6 p.m.
Saturday
9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday

Noon – 3 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday

To visit the SRC, students must complete the following steps:
- Download the CSUN Student Recreation Center app on iOS or Android.
- Complete the mandatory online CSUN health screening.
- Email confirmation of your completed health screening will be required to enter the SRC.
- Visiting the Rec or Plaza Pool? You must book your Personal Recreation Window up to two days in advance through the app or online through the SRC Portal before accessing the pools.
In order to ensure your health and safety, the SRC will also require the following protocols:
- Maintain a distance of at least six feet from other members while using the facilities.
- Wear a face covering at all times except when swimming or showering.
- It is recommended that you bring your own workout towel as Equipment Checkout will not be available at this time.
- All members will be asked to clean the equipment/machines before and after use.
- Please abide by all capacity limits until space is available.
- Please observe all posted signage.
