Northridge — The Student Recreation Center at the University Student Union invites all students to celebrate physical activity and healthy living at “Matador Recreation Day” on Thursday, February 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Camino del Sol and SRC Walkway at the USU. The annual event is held in support of National Recreation Sports and Fitness Day.

“Matador Recreation Day is a great way for all CSUN students to get excited about their wellbeing and gain information about wellness and fitness through interactive games and activities” said Brianna White, USU events assistant, “All students are encouraged to bring their friends and express their competitive edge in our ‘Triathlon Challenge’ or the ‘Matador Games.’”

Participants can put their fitness to the test with the exciting ‘Triathlon Challenge’ consisting of 250-meter swim, one mile on the indoor track and two miles on the stationery bike. The ‘Matador Games’ are another exciting competition that features a medley of fun and engaging physical activities.
