The Student Recreation Center (SRC) of the University Student Union invites the SRC community to enroll their children, grandchildren and dependents during this summer’s “Children’s Swim Lessons”. These affordable lessons are available for young swimmers of all skill levels, utilizing the American Red Cross guidelines and teaching techniques.
Ryan Hairapetian, SRC Aquatics Coordinator, is responsible for this event.
Registration is open now for all three sessions. Registration for Session 1 closes on June 2; for Session 2, July 7; for Session 3, August 11.
The sessions will be available this summer with Saturday classes for three different skill levels, including Parent and Me, Tiny Tots and Levels 1-5:
Session 1: June 2 to June 30
Session 2: July 7 to August 4
Session 3: August 11 to September 8
The sessions will take place at the SRC pool.
This event provides all SRC members with affordable and convenient swimming lessons for their kids and grandkids.
SRC members can enroll their children to take these beneficial classes for only $23 per child. All participants must be SRC members in order to sign up their children, grandchildren, or dependents for swim lessons. A swim diaper must be worn by participants in the levels Parent and Me, Tiny Tots, and for Level 1 (optional for Level 2). Free swim diapers will be provided to any child in need of one. All guardians must present a birth certificate for each swimmer during the summer term. Sign up for these awesome swim lessons at the SRC front desk or online at csun.edu/src/aquatics.
