The resistance created through in-water movement is greater than what is experienced on land. Aquatic classes are designed to increase strength and the amount of calories burned per minute.
Adult Beginner and Intermediate Swim Lessons are $16 for students and $32 for non-students; there are eight, 30-minute lessons, twice a week, for four weeks. Adult Stroke Technique, Aqua Aerobics, and Aqua Bootcamp are 55-minute classes that will be offered to members free of charge. Private and semi-private lessons also are available.
