All Matadors Invited to Get in the Game for Fall 2015 Intramurals
North ridge — The Student Recreation Center at the University Student Union is inviting all CSUN students, faculty and staff to sign up and get in the game for the Fall 2015 Intramurals Sports Programs. Registration begins on Monday, Aug. 17 and ends Wednesday, Sept. 9. All those interested in participating can register online to compete along with their friends and other Matadors in a wide variety of sports.
“Intramural sports are a great way for all students to get involved on campus, meet new friends and challenge their skill level with a variety of fun sports,” said Intramurals Graduate Assistant, Demont Oliver “Participants of all ability levels are welcome. It’s time to round up your friends, colleagues, fraternity members, sorority members and classmates. Let’s get everyone in the game!”
To get started, just register online through IMleagues.com or through the app ‘Rec It’ and select the indoor or outdoor sport of your choice. Indoor sports include five-on-five basketball, indoor soccer and indoor volleyball. Outdoor sports include flag football, ultimate Frisbee and outdoor soccer.
All participants can also put their skills and fitness to the test in a variety of exciting one-day tournaments, which include floor hockey, battleship and kayak jousting, table tennis, the CSUN flag football classic, and the CSUN athletic director’s three-on-three basketball challenge.
