The Student Recreation Center received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold status certification in Oct. 2012. LEED is an internationally recognized green building program, which provides building owners and operators with a frame work for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building components. “Bernie Lean” for “Insanity”

The University Student Union presents The Bernie Lean Video Contest. Students are asked to show off their version of the famed “Bernie Lean” dance. NFL Buffalo Bills Running Back Fred Jackson used it as his touchdown dance and MLB Oakland Athletics rocked their team, stadium and fans with the Bernie Lean phenomenon during their race this year for the American League West title.  Read more
