Register for this six-week virtual fitness program to create a healthier personal routine by engaging in a variety of activities that promote health and fitness from Monday, Sept. 14 until Sunday, Oct. 25!

Fall Back Into Fitness: Virtual Semester Fitness Program

Monday, Sept. 14 – Sunday, Oct. 25

Prepare for the holidays this semester by kickstarting your fitness goals, Matadors!

This six-week virtual fitness program is designed to encourage you to create a healthier personal routine by engaging in a variety of activities you enjoy that promote health and fitness. Whether you are a CSUN student, faculty, staff, or alumni all you need to do is make an account on the SRC ChallengeRunner webpage or download the ChallengeRunner app on iOS or Android and enroll into Fall Back into Fitness 2020 under “available challenges”.

Program Details

Starting Sept. 14 you will earn points by tracking your daily activities on the ChallengeRunner app on iOS or Android or through the SRC ChallengeRunner website. There are five different ways to earn points: 

  1. Daily Physical Activity: Earn points by manually tracking the amount of moderate to vigorous physical activity, of any kind, completed each day:

    • ½ a point: No activity
    • 1 point: Completing less than or equal to 30 minutes
    • 2 points: Completing greater than 30 minutes

    Plus, earn 10 bonus points when you reach at least 36 points in this category.

    Note: A maximum of 94 points are available in this category, including bonus points, during the program.

  2. Daily SRC Virtual Activities: Earn four points each day by manually tracking when you participate in one of the following virtual activities offered by the SRC:

    • Live-streamed fitness/mindfulness class
    • YouTube on-demand fitness/mindfulness class
    • At-home workout routine (Available on Instagram and Facebook)

    Plus earn 10 bonus points when you reach at least 72 points in this category.

    Note: A maximum of 178 points are available in this category, including bonus points, during the program.

  3. Weekly Aftermath Booster: Earn three points each week by sharing a picture of yourself, post-workout, in the program chat area.

    Plus earn 10 bonus points when you reach at least 15 points in this category.

    Note: A maximum of 28 points are available in this category, including bonus points, during the program. Points are manually entered by a program administrator once confirmed.

  4. Spread the Word Booster: Earn five points per each referral that registers for Fall Back into Fitness by Sept. 20.

    Plus earn 10 bonus points once you reach 20 points in this category.

    Note: A maximum of 30 points are available in this category, including bonus points, during the program. Referrals must be a part of the CSUN community and submitted no later than Sept. 20 into the Fall Back into Fitness Referral Tracker for consideration. Points are manually entered by a program administrator once confirmed. 

  5. Fitness & Nutrition Booster: Earn ten points each when you register and attend any of the following live-streamed fitness classes:

    • SRC Mega Sweat Sesh: Dance Strength Fusion on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
    • SRC Mega Sweat Sesh: H.I.I.T. & Yoga Fusion on Wednesday, Oct. 21
    • Eat Healthy, Stay Activity Workshop by Marilyn Magaram Center, Wednesday Sept. 16, 23 and 30.
    • Nutrition Counseling & Diet Analysis by Marilyn Magaram Center
    • SRC Virtual Matty 5K, on Fri, Sept 25.
  1. Plus earn 10 bonus points when you reach 20 points in this category.

    Note: A maximum of 30 points are available in this category, including bonus points, during the program. Points are manually entered by a program administrator once confirmed.

Minimum Participation & Prize Eligibility

The more consistent you are with moving your body, the more opportunities you have to be entered into the raffles and win prizes! You will be entered into the raffles by reaching the minimum amount of points per level. 

  • Level 1: 54 points
    • CSUN/SRC Swag Bag and a $10 Starbucks Gift Card
    • 2 Winners will be chosen
  • Level 2: 162 points
    • $25 Amazon or Target Gift Card
    • 2 Winners will be chosen
  • Level 3: 234 points
    • $50 Vons Gift Card
    • 1 Winner will be chosen
  • Level 4: 288 points
    • $75 Visa Gift Card
    • 1 Winner will be chosen

Additionally, the person with the most points earned at the end of the program will be the Fall Into Fitness Champion and will receive a TRX Full Body Workout Bundle, a $230 Value!

Note: A maximum of 360 points can be earned among all categories, including bonus points. In the event two or more people earn the same amount of points, a raffle drawing will occur to determine the final winner. 

Winners will be randomly selected by Thursday, Oct. 29. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the respective email no later than Thursday, Nov. 5. If a winner does not claim their prize by the deadline, a new winner will be drawn.
