Lunchtime Express

Come join SRC members on your lunch break to pursue your wellness goals. The SRC offers several Lunchtime Express Group Exercise classes to all CSUN faculty and staff. These classes are FREE and faculty and staff do not have to have an SRC membership to participate. This program is offered as part of the CSUN HR Professional Development program. Look for classes marked with the red sun icon on the Group Exercise class schedule.

To register for your free Lunchtime Express membership, please visit the SRC front desk and ask for a supervisor at least 30 minutes* prior to the class start time. Be sure to know your CSUN username, password, and ID number. Please note that you will only need to register one time and thereafter you may enter the SRC and go straight to pick up your class pass at the Total Training Zone desk during that semester. 

*Registration can be done at any time during our operating hours so feel free to visit the SRC as soon as possible.

Steps to Sign-up for a Lunchtime Express Class Once You Register at the Front Desk: 

Registration is simple and can be completed through the USU Rec & Wellness Portal or the MINDBODY app as early as five (5) days in advance. If you are new to the portal, get started now by using the following steps:

Create an account through the USU Rec & Wellness Portal, download the MINDBODY app and add “CSUN-University Student Union” as a favorite by tapping on the heart icon.
Important: Make sure to add the non-student access pass package to your account under the “Online Store” tab and subscribe to receive emails from MINDBODY such as booking confirmations, class cancellations, etc. under the “My Info” tab.

Choose a class from the schedule and sign-up as early as five (5) days in advance.
Note: Virtual classes are offered FREE to the community. Make sure to download Zoom if you signed up for a virtual class. 

Check-in and arrive to the class at least 10 minutes prior to the start time.
Note: To check-in for in-person classes, please stop by the Total Training Zone desk to claim your pass before reporting the class location. To check-in to a virtual class, click on the link provided in your confirmation email/text or manually enter the Meeting ID and Passcode. Your Zoom account name must match your MINDBODY account.

Late Arrival Procedure

  • In-Person Classes: Participants who fail to check in 10 minutes prior to the class start time will result in you automatically forfeiting your registered spot and you will be required to wait in the standby line for potential remaining availability. No passes will be issued once the class has started, no exceptions.
  • Virtual Classes: Participants who fail to join the Zoom meeting link prior to the class start time may not admitted by the instructor.
