Dear Principal Investigators and Research Administrators:
As a result of the Chancellor’s Office Audit in September, Research & Sponsored Programs has updated our policies and procedures for both pre-award and post-award. In the next few weeks, as we rollout these updates, our department will send email communications describing the changes. The updated cost sharing and monitoring policy and procedure is attached. As a reminder, Principal Investigators with cost matching responsibilities must submit at least semi-annual financial status reports on cost-sharing, unless the grant states a different time period.
