TUC Staffing Changes
It is with sadness that I inform you that after almost 3 years with TUC, Dakota Hughes has decided to accept a new position at CSU Dominguez Hills. His last day with TUC will be on September 17.
During his time with TUC, he has served as a Post-Award liaison for several colleges and departments, including Strength United, BUILD grant, College of Humanities, and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dakota is known to his colleagues as someone who is dedicated to his work and his son, organized and detailed, knowledgeable with compliance, and has a passion for learning. He will be deeply missed by his colleagues and we are happy for his new opportunity. Please reach out to Dakota to congratulate him and wish him luck on his new journey.
With this change, we are updating our Post-Award liaison assignments (see below). This will be effective September 20, 2021. Philia Militante will be joining the Post-Award liaison team while we recruit and train for an Analyst Associate.
The recruitment for the Analyst Associate has started. If you know anyone who is interested, maybe a (former) student of yours who has a knack for analyzing problems and loves numbers, please encourage them to apply. The position is currently posted in the CSUN website. Our team would love to meet them.

BBA reports
Please note that Budget Balance Available (BBA) reports are currently not available in the website. We are working with CSUN Financial Systems and IT to fix the issues with the BBA reports. Detail Trial Balance (DTB) report is still available and is sent every Sunday at 4AM (unless you requested for the report to run every month). If you need an updated DTB report, please reach out to your Post-Award liaison.
LAUSD COVID Vaccination Requirement
LAUSD sent the attached email communication to The University Corporation regarding their COVID Vaccination Requirement (please reach out to Grace Slavik if you need a copy of the email communication). If you and/or your employees are doing business or working with LAUSD, please review the attached email and follow the instructions regarding complying with the requirement. Please refer to the Vendor Vax Requirement FAQs, posted on https://achieve.lausd.net/Page/3904, for more information.
