The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is committed to supporting faculty who pursue grant and contract opportunities with public and private funders to enhance their research endeavors and enrich student experiences in and out of the classroom.  Due to our applied research focus and our commitment to experiential learning opportunities for students, we encourage faculty to secure external support for their projects.

In 2011-12, The College was awarded more than $4.5 million in public and private grants and contracts.

The CSBS Grants Office provides a valuable resource for our faculty during all phases of grants and contract development from prospect research and proposal preparation to post-award project management.

We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our grant guidelines, search available funding opportunities, and find out about grant and contract awards throughout the College.

We invite you to check out a new feature on our College website: the Project Funding Worksheet (under Information on the left sidebar).  This click-and-submit form will give you a simple way to begin to conceptualize your project and submit some basic information to our office so that we can identify funding opportunities for you.

We look forward to working with you to enhance your scholarly activities, provide outstanding, unique learning experiences for our students, and fulfill the learning-centered mission of the College and the University.
