Biography

EDUCATION:

PhD, 2015, CAPELLA UNIVERSITY, Public Service Leadership,

M.A. 1983, UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, Physical Anthropology

B.A. 1974, BROWN UNIVERSITY,  Anthropology

 

Academic Interests: Policing, to include Police Administration, Police and Society, especially the intersection of Police, Community, and Race.

Research Interests: Police, Community Relations, Police Unions, and Survey Research and Methodology.

Retired Law Enforcement and Military. Dr. Lima has a strong commitment to enhancing student diversity, encouraging critical thinking, and motivating students towards a life-long commitment to both learning, and concerns about issues of society and justice.
